July 4th–Trip to Lake Michigan

Peg and I and Ann, Elle and Emma made a trip to Michigan to see Peg’s family, meet with Joe and Jen and go to Lake Michigan.  The weather was great and we all made it to the top of Tower Hill at Warren Dunes.

Did a couple of small projects at Peg’s place and then went out to Micki and Johns to see the birds!  Bob and Kathy came into 116 for an evening of visiting and catching up on family news.  Got to spent an evening with Jen’s parents and her sisiter-in-law’s family in Bridgman.  Joe and Jen brought Jen’s twin nephews to the Lake and the girls did a great job of entertaining them.  Between swimming, being buried in the sand, and climbing the giant dune–all survived to drive into Buchanan for ice cream at the Sweet Shop!

Now it is time to get started on my campaign trail.  Lots of things to do to get out the vote for the election.
