Kickoff to summer! :)
Hi everyone! On June 1, 2013 the Spicknalls, me, Molly, & Cory, are hosting a Kickoff to Summer party at Weed Park in Muscatine, IA. We’ve reserved the shelter in the Zoo Garden :). At this party we will be celebrating all summer birthdays as well as anniversary’s. It will be a lunch time get-together from 12:00 (noon) to ?. There is also an Aquatic Center in Weed Park, as well as a playground. If you can make it please RSVP to spicknall.rose@machlink.com. Thank you and we hope to see you there!
Wonderful idea, Rose! I won’t be able to attend due to a prior commitment to help clean up Lake Wapello for a 5k race on June 8. Tom will be there to help celebrate birthdays and summer!

Sounds like fun! Will you guarantee a sunny & 75 degree day? We will try to be present if we are not in Madison that weekend. Hope to see many there. Our family used to have many picnics in Weed Park when your mom was a bit younger. Nice that you are going to renew this tradition 🙂

I am hoping the weather hold out for us on Saturday! We will have some Spicknall representation and maybe some Petershmidt’s as well. Should be interesting! Francie and Wayne will even be able to make it. Maybe you could talk Matt/Marisa and families to come? The more the merrier! 🙂 Hope to see you Saturday. Hi Rose, Liz will be at a convention in Des Moines, but I believe that Sam may be able to make his way down to Muscatine that day. What a great idea! Thanks for inviting Lazios to get together to “kick off” summer.
