Tom P. Lazio dies on July 22, 2013
At about 7:40 am today, Tom P Lazio died peaceably at Lutheran Home. Toni Greiner and John Lazio were with dad when he passed . Most of us gather yesterday at Lutheran home to celebrate his 95th Birthday.
He was not doing well when we were there. Toni agreed to stay with him last night and Tom was going to stay during the daytime. Toni and John were with Dad when he died. He was peaceful and looked very comfortable when I arrived at the Lutheran Home. Pastor Vicki came into the room and said a prayer with Toni, John, Helen and Tom. The entire staff were very sensitive and caring! Julie came in last evening and placed a rosary in Dad’s hands and he seemed to respond to her before he died. We have sent a “goodie basket” to the entire staff in appreciation for the excellent care they gave Dad.
Helen and John went out to Riley’s to make arrangement for the visitationa and funeral. They have done a great job of getting input from all of us and especially, Mom.
