Spaghetti & Meatballs
Cook Time: 120min
Sauce:
1 can tomato juice
1 small can tomato paste
1 C chopped onion
1 clove garlic
1/4 t oregano
2 T olive oil
salt, pepper, sugar & basil to taste
Brown onion and garlic in oil. Add juice & paste. Let come to boil. Add browned meat balls. Simmer 1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally.
Meat Balls:
1 lb ground beef
1/2 C bread crumbs
1/4 C grated parmesan cheese
2 T dry onion
1 T parsley
2 eggs
2 t salt
pepper to taste
Mix together. If dry, milk may be added. Shape and brown in skillet. Add along with drippings to sauce.
