This week the stained glass windows and doors in the Holy Family Chapel were covered with panels made of Lexan,
an ultra-hard transparent material that should provide protection for the glass for a long time. The work was done by
Decker Studios from Winona, Minnesota. Mike had contacted Decker several years ago, asking them to submit a bid
for the work, which was put on hold.
In 2012 the building was tuckpointed and bricks were removed from two windows on the north side of the building.
This summer Sam and Maryrose and John contacted Decker again, asking him to re-submit his proposal to include
the two windows on the north side. Decker did an excellent job.
Thanks for the post, and all the work you, John, and All family members who put in time and labor to get the chapel updated. It looks very stately and Grandpa and Grandma Bisesi would be very proud of the efforts to get it this way.
